Incorporated in 1890, Kent is the second oldest incorporated city in King County with Seattle being the oldest. As the sixth-largest city in Washington, Kent has a population of over 136,000 people. The city is connected to Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma via State Route 167 and Interstate 5 as well as offers transportation via the Sounder Commuter Rail.
