Welcome to North Bend

North Bend is a small town nestled in the Cascade Mountains, not far from the city and not far from The Summit at Snoqualmie Ski Resort. Many come to North Bend to experience living in the nature of the beautiful Pacific Northwest with a resident elk heard of between 300-600 elk, an impressive array of hiking/bicycling trails including Mount Si, and popular Rattlesnake Lake. North Bend was also made famous by David Lynch’s TV series “Twin Peaks” where you can visit Twede’s Cafe for it’s renowned cherry pie and coffee from the TV series.

Located 30 miles east of Seattle and is right off Interstate 90, making it a popular location for those that want to live in a small town but still have a close commute to larger cities such as Seattle and Bellevue. North Bend was incorporated in 1909 and was named for the prime location at the large northward bend of the South Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River. After its incorporation, North Bend continued to grow with an early economic focus on logging, agricultural and dairy farming. Today, North Bend has a population of over 7,000 and continues to thrive agriculturally as well as being the home of the North American production facility for Nintendo.
